I started Gentle Persuasion Pet Services in 2002 as a dog training business. Over the years my business has evolved to include dog walking and pet sitting as well.

My education and experience in animal training gives me an advantage over many other dog walkers and pet sitters. I know how to put these animals at ease when their usual guardians (you) are not around and I always give my dog and cat clients the love, patience and understanding which they need to feel comfortable. In this way I am able to help the animals and their people.

My services are convenient for you because I offer them at your home, doing everything I can to accommodate your schedule. I also focus most of the business within my home town of Ossining and the immediately surrounding communities. By keeping my travel distance short I can keep my rates reasonable and respond to your needs more quickly than others may be able to.

I offer a free 30 minute consultation to meet you and your pets prior to scheduling any services whether it’s pet sitting, dog walking or dog training.
